Automation is much more than the ability to control your TV and lights, it is the ability to simplify your life and make it more efficient. From the time you wake to the time you go to bed, your home will intuitively control everyday functions.
When you come home, the lights automatically lead a path to your favorite room, the air conditioning adjusts, and your favorite music starts to play. As you enter your theater, the projector turns on and the screen changes shape to match your viewing content. The selection of your favorite movies no longer involves sifting through endless DVD cases, instead you simply select a movie from the on-screen menu and it starts to play in seconds, as the lights dim.
If you wish to view your movie in another room, simply pause the movie and shut off the system. Once settled in another room, with a touch of a button your movie begins to play from the point at which you left off. DVD players, cable boxes, and other components are no longer located in each room, but instead centralized and accessible from anywhere in the home, you can even have the same thing playing on multiple TV’s at the same time.
When you leave your home, with the press of one button, the home is protected. Your system knows you are gone, and it will tell the lights to turn off and the thermostats to change settings to save energy. Later in the evening, even when you are not home, the house comes to life; the TV’s and music turn on, the lights randomly turn on to appear as if you are home, a perfect defense against a would-be-thief.
Even while away, your home is accessible through your computer or smart phone. You can view the cameras, adjust the lighting and thermostats, even disarm the alarm and open the front door for the housekeeper…it’s all so easy.
